“The board has been built over the course of several months in order to effectively grow the Guild and position it for growth in the future,” said Sherré DeMao, President of the Lincoln Theatre Guild. “We have been quietly restructuring our leadership and operations in order to establish a solid foundation for growth, stability, and sustainability,” states DeMao. According to DeMao, this included expanding the board of directors and the roles of those on the board, identifying the type of talent, roles and categories needed for a strong volunteer base, revising the bylaws of the organization, and establishing a more aggressive fundraising, membership and community outreach initiative.
Anyone interested in contributing to the Guild by volunteering should contact DeMao at president@lincolntheatreguild.org or go online to the volunteers section of the website and submit a Volunteers Inquiry Online Form.
